Ameir further explained that the government continues to allocate funds for the construction of hostels and other educational infrastructure based on the availability of resources. At the same time, it is encouraging private sector players and other stakeholders to invest in student housing near higher learning institutions to expand accommodation options.

She said the initiative is expected to enhance student welfare and improve learning outcomes as demand for higher education continues to rise across the country.
