Tanzanian hospitality, Serengeti Wonders fascinate visiting US boxer

DAR ES SALAAM: AMERICAN international boxer Terence “Bud” Crawford has praised the hospitality of Tanzanians since he arrived in the country on May 24, 2026, for a tourist visit.
The boxer said this when he met with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr Hassan Abbasi in Dar es Salaam as he began his several-day visit to the country.

The boxer, who has a record of not losing any fight in the 42 games he has played since he entered professional boxing, has also expressed his eagerness to see the wonders of attractions such as Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar that he will visit.

For his part, Dr Abbasi on behalf of the Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr Ashatu Kijaji has welcomed him to the country and invited him to continue coming to Tanzania whenever he needs to, especially at this time when he has decided to retire early from the sport since December last year 2025.
