Onyango will therefore team up with his former teammate, Pascal Wawa.

Also, within this transfer window, the Burkinabé defender Mohamed Ouattara parted ways with the club.

Malone is the third foreign player to join the Msimbazi Street giants. Others who also signed contracts with Simba include Essomba Onana and Aubin Kramo.

The former Coton Sport FC centre-back, Malone will partner with Democratic Republic of Congo’s import Henock Inonga to ensure the team’s backline remains unbreakable during their next season’s engagements.

The club’s Media and Communication Officer, Ahmed Ally assured fans and members that new players are still being recruited.

“The transfer window for domestic and international players is still open. Therefore, they (fans) should keep calm and enjoy seeing the best players arriving at their favourite club,” said Ally.

A further development is that Ally has assured fans that Jean Baleke is still with the club, even though he has travelled to DR Congo to renew his passport.

” Baleke is still at the club. He has much to offer Simba, and he will rejoin the team as soon as he resolves his passport issue,” he said.

Also, Ally revealed that Simba will leave tomorrow for Turkey for a pre-season camp where they will also play several friendly matches to build team chemistry.

Under the tutelage of Roberto Oliveira, Simba will have a busy 2023/24 campaign as they compete in the domestic league plus two international contests (CAF Super Cup and CAF Champions League).

The Brazilian coach is yet to win titles with the Reds, forcing him to shift to top gear to make the upcoming season prosperous.
