Yanga’s Manager handed a three-match ban, fined 1m/- for pushing Chama

DAR ES SALAAM: YOUNG Africans manager, Walter Harson, has been handed a three-match ban and fined 1m/- for pushing Simba player Clatous Chama during the Mainland Premier League derby played on May 3, 2026, in Dar es Salaam.
The disciplinary action follows an incident that occurred during match number 169 between arch-rivals Yanga and Simba, which ended in a 2-2 draw at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium.

According to league authorities, the punishment was issued under Regulation 45:2(2.1) relating to the conduct of coaches and other technical officials.
In a separate disciplinary decision, a Yanga supporter identified as Mohamed Ally Mposo has been banned from entering football stadiums for 12 months after invading the pitch during halftime and pouring liquids on the playing area.
