ARUSHA: OVER 12,000 households are expected to be reached by the Universal Health Insurance Program in Arusha Region, as part of the implementation of a pledge made by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, to citizens within the first 100 days of her leadership.

So far, 458 households living in vulnerable conditions have already been registered and issued with health insurance cards under the program, a move aimed at expanding access to healthcare services for financially disadvantaged citizens.
