President Samia congratulates Young Africans for impressive CAF record

President Samia Suluhu Hassan has congratulated Young Africans for making it to the CAF Confederation Cup finals.

The East African club sailed through into finals for the first time ever.

Through her Instagram account and Twitter platforms, the Head of State  briefly writes: “Congratulations to Yanga for reaching in the finals of confederation cup.

“You have written a history and give our country a big reputation. I wish you all the best in the finals.”

Yanga have progressed into the finale courtesy of a 4-1 aggregate victory over Marumo Gallants.

The envoys produced a 2-0 success in the second leg match at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in South Africa on Wednesday evening.
