“We are the heart of the nation, and this is not just my opinion; Mwalimu Nyerere also said it. This ministry is the face of our country. If someone wants to understand what Tanzania looks like, it is this ministry that will show them. It reflects the identity of Tanzanians through their traditions, customs, laughter, tears, songs, joy, and even sorrow,” said Professor Kabudi.

On his part, the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports, Hamis Mwinjuma, stated that the objective of the meeting was to strengthen unity among ministry employees and provide direction for their work.

“This meeting is important because, every time we hold such discussions, work morale increases. It should not be a once-a-year event but rather a continuous process of guiding one another, reminding ourselves of our responsibilities, motivating each other, and making necessary corrections where needed,” said Mwinjuma.
