Content creators urged to use AFCON 2027 in promoting Tanzania globally

ARUSHA: DIGITAL content creators in Arusha have been urged to use the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2027), scheduled to take place in Tanzania, as an opportunity to produce content that will promote the country internationally.

Speaking on the topic “Enhancing Tourism Content and Creating Impactful Work,” Communications Manager of the Tanzania Tourism Board, Pauline Mkama, emphasized that content creators should highlight Tanzania’s cultural and tourist attractions to gain global recognition, similar to how creators promote other countries.

Digital content creator, Fahad Rajab, added that now is the time for online content creators to prioritize learning in order to keep pace with technological changes.

Additionally, Magreth Geddy stressed the importance of using AI technology to improve their work, enabling it to reach larger markets both domestically and internationally.
