Monalisa calls on content creators to register their brands to protect their creativity

DAR ES SALAAM: SOCIAL Media content creator Monalisa Rwechungura has advised content creators to register their brands as a strategy to protect ownership of their work and enhance its financial value.

Speaking today, March 25, 2026, in Dar es Salaam during a training session for content creators organized by CRDB Bank, Rwechungura stated that registering a brand helps prevent unauthorized use of creative works and provides a legal basis for claiming compensation when such rights are violated.

Addressing a topic on how to increase personal value, content value, branding, and intellectual property rights, she noted that effective use of technology—particularly artificial intelligence (AI)—can significantly improve content production efficiency. However, she cautioned that it requires adequate understanding to avoid misuse.
