She added: “This system enables our loan beneficiaries to succeed in their businesses because they have a full understanding of how to operate their projects.”
On her part, Education Specialist of the AIM Program of BRACc Maendeleo, Ms Sophia Nyanda, pointed out that they have managed to positively transform the lives of many people across the country.
“We also have a ‘livelihood category’ that specifically provides capital to our members, which facilitates them to start different businesses like saloon, livestock keeping, crop farming, horticulture, and other economic earning opportunities.
“The good thing is that we first give them adequate training purposely to equip them with skills to manage their businesses well, and in turn, they benefit immensely from what they do,” she said.

Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries of BRAC Finance Limited loans, Sofia Nyanda, who is a food vendor, commended BRAC for helping to create a prosperous economic path for her.
“I not only own a food-selling business, but I also managed to establish other businesses that are running, and this has been made possible by BRAC…I am thankful to them,” she said.
