DAR ES SALAAM: A total of 56 students have graduated from the Cabin Crew Ab Initio course at the Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) Training Center (ATTC), following an intensive selection and training process.
The cohort began with 180 candidates, with 120 advancing to the training phase, and 56 successfully completing the program and earning their certificates.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony held at the ATCL Training Center, Julius Nyerere International Airport, the Guest of Honor, ATCL Managing Director Eng. Ladislaus Matindi, underscored the critical role of cabin crew in ensuring passenger safety and providing top-notch customer service.
“Cabin crew are the face of any airline, and their contribution to safety and service cannot be overstated,” said Eng. Matindi.
He added that many of the ATTC graduates have quickly secured jobs, meeting both local and international aviation market standards.

Eng. Matindi also revealed plans to expand the Training Center beyond Dar es Salaam, citing the rising demand for cabin crew training. He assured that the new branches will be equipped with cutting-edge facilities and led by professional trainers.
ATTC Principal Elly Ndekile shared that since its establishment, the center has produced over 700 professionals, significantly contributing to the aviation industry.
The graduation, held on September 4, 2024, marked yet another milestone in the institution’s commitment to excellence in aviation training.
