Yanga, Les Aigles Du Congo to highlight Yanga Day

DAR ES SALAAM: YOUNG Africans will host DR Congo club FC Les Aigles du Congo as part of their Yanga Day celebrations.
The Congolese side arrived in Tanzania last week and have been training at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam ahead of the friendly match.
The game will allow both teams to assess their squads before the start of their respective domestic league campaigns.
The club was founded on August 21, 2023, by a businessman, Vidiye Tshimanga and last season they played 35 matches across all competitions during the 2025-26 season, recording 17 wins, 15 draws and six defeats.

In their recent achievement, they won their firstever Linafoot title in the 2024/2025 season.
They backed this up with a strong 2025/2026 campaign, finishing as league runners-up just behind TP Mazembe. Young Africans have previously used Yanga Day to host teams from the region.
Last season, Kenyan Premier League side Bandari FC were invited and Yanga won the friendly 1-0.
