Yanga’s Job out of the pitch for 3 months due to a knee surgery

DAR ES SALAAM: TAIFA Stars and Young Africans defender, Dickson Job has undergone a knee surgery in South Africa today, March 11, 2026, following an injury sustained during their barren drawn with Simba in their Kariakoo Derby .

Ally Kamwe, the club’s Media and Communications Manager, confirmed  it saying the surgery was successful and that Job is recovering well.

Job, who also serves as the club’s vice captain,   suffered the injury during a Premier League match against Simba  on March 1, 2026, at New Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

According to Yanga , the defender is expected to be out of action for approximately 2 to 3 months while continuing treatment before returning fully to competitive play.
