Yanga to face Djibouti’s ASAS at Chamanzi Complex

DAR ES SALAAM: Young Africans says the two-legged CAF Champions League first preliminary round fixtures against ASAS of Djibouti will be staged at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam.

According to the club’s Media and Communication Manager Ali Kamwe, the first leg duel is set on Sunday and the reverse leg match next Sunday at the same venue.

“We have received official information from CAF indicating that both legs will be hosted at Azam Complex in the city,” Kamwe says on Tuesday afternoon.

He then names entry charges for VIP A as 30,000/-, VIP B 20,000/- while ordinary seats goes at 5,000/-.

“We want to make a big statement that this year, we are destined to achieve more in the champions league and our target is to step in the group stage.

“Last season, we did well in the CAF Confederation Cup by reaching in the finals and we want to transfer that success in the champions league,” says him.

Concerning progress of winger Mahlatse Makudubela (Skudu) who was injured during their community shield match versus Azam, Kamwe says he is feeling much better.
