DODOMA: Young Africans, the defending champions of the Mainland Premier League, continue their title defence in strong fashion after securing a 4-0 victory over Dodoma Jiji at Jamhuri Stadium in the capital city, Dodoma.

Yanga has now accumulated 36 points from 14 matches, having won 12 and lost 2. They remain one point behind league leaders and rivals Simba, who sit at 37 points from the same number of games.

Yahya then provided the assist to Mzize for the easy finish. Yanga went into the break leading 3-0, having dominated the first half in both possession and chances over their opponents.

In the second half, both teams came out rejuvenated, with Dodoma Jiji attempting to break down Yanga’s defence but failing to find the back of the net.
