Yanga blame fatigue after goalless draw with TRA United

DAR ES SALAAM: TRA United have parted ways with Head Coach Etienne Ndayiragije by mutual agreement, the club announced on Monday. Ndayiragije’s departure takes effect from September 7, 2026, bringing an end to his spell in charge of the club.

In a statement, TRA United said: “TRA United Sports Club and head coach, Mr Etienne Ndayiragije, have reached a mutual agreement to terminate his employment contract, effective today, September 7th 2026.”

The club thanked the Burundian coach for his contribution, professionalism and commitment during his time with the team.

“TRA United Sports Club would like to sincerely thank Coach Ndayiragije for his great contribution, professionalism and exceptional service to the team throughout the period he was part of the club,” the statement added.

TRA United also wished Ndayiragije well in the next stage of his career.

“We congratulate him and wish him all the best and continued success in the next chapter of his life and coaching career,” the club said.

The club added that it would provide further updates regarding the future leadership of its technical bench.

Ndayiragije’s exit leaves TRA United facing a change in the dugout as the club looks to appoint a new head coach.
