Ways to create colour combos

DAR ES SALAAM: MONOCHROMATIC colour scheme: Use one colour in varying tints and shades. Analogous colour scheme: Use three colours instead of two.

Analogous colours are located directly next to each other on the colour wheel. In this scheme, blue, green, and bluish-green would all be used.

Complementary colour scheme: Use two colours that are opposite one another on the colour wheel, creating high contrast.

Example: purple and yellow, blue and orange, etc. Triadic colour scheme: Use colours that are equidistant from each other on the colour wheel.

They form an equilateral triangle if you draw lines between them. For example, green, purple, and orange are triadic colours. (Better to avoid this type if you’re a beginner)
