VETA to formalize skills of 80 students

DAR ES SALAAM: VOCATIONAL Education and Training Authority (VETA) plans to formalize the skills of 80 students to ensure they are recognized in the job market.
This initiative is part of VETA’s ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between education and employment, offering students the skills and certification needed to increase their competitiveness in the workforce.
By equipping students with recognized qualifications, VETA aims to improve employment prospects, especially in industries where skilled labor is in high demand.
This move also supports the broader goal of enhancing vocational education as a key driver of economic growth and reducing unemployment.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Dr Doto Biteko closed the VETA’s 30th commemoration.
He has emphasized the need for the Authority to improve its training programs to align with current technology and meet the demands of the global market.
