DAR ES SALAAM: Tanzania Standard Newspapers (TSN) Limited is set to launch its first ever Digital Magazine, “Echoes of Kindness” that is dedicated to honoring and amplifying the remarkable deeds of individuals who made a positive impact in the country.
The magazine will feature 50 different categories, highlighting individuals or institutions’ extraordinary efforts in making Tanzania a better place. These categories include community development, healthcare, education, environmental conservation and kindness.
Others are social inclusion and equality, Empowerment of women and Girls, Conflict resolution through art and music, public service hero, Good Samaritan youth and adult, innovation and technology, random acts of kindness, inspiring young leaders, rural and remote community support, good military or policy officer and support for orphans and vulnerable children.
TSN’s Ag. Digital Media Manager and Magazine Coordinator Mr Sylvester Domasa said the company has decided to introduce the magazine as a way of celebrating the unsung heroes who have been making acts of kindness and compassion by sharing their inspiring stories with the world.
“For the very first time, we bring you a platform that celebrates these extraordinary acts of kindness and compassion. This is not just a magazine; it’s an echo of the heartwarming stories that define our lives”, said Mr Domasa.
He added: “The list is long and rich, from nurturing the young minds of tomorrow to caring for our elders, from protecting our environment to ensuring justice and peace, the ‘Echoes of Kindness’ Magazine covers it all…. We leave no stone unturned in our quest to honor these heroes”.
TSN has opened windows for nomination to both individuals and institutions or organizations to share their stories of kindness. The closing date is November 20th, 2023.
