TLP’s presidential candidate promises peaceful leadership, free education
DAR ES SALAAM: PRESIDENTIAL candidate for the Tanzania Labour Party, Rwamugira Yustas, has pledged to lead the country with peace and stability while prioritizing community development, including agricultural projects, industrialization, healthcare, and the party’s management.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam during the launch of his party’s campaign, Rwamugira said the current situation of the country doesn’t put it in the list of the poorest nations.
He promised to offer free university education to all students and that graduates would be guaranteed employment after completing their studies.

He also added that young people would be trained in various technical skills, including construction, laboratory work, and agriculture.
On healthcare, he pledged that everyone would be provided with free health insurance.
Furthermore, he emphasized that local contractors would be given priority in employment opportunities.
