TFF pledges to involve TTB in using AFCON finals to promote the country’s  tourism attractions

DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA Football Federation (TFF) is preparing to work closely with the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) to use the opportunity presented by the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to promote the country’s tourism attractions.

TFF President Wallace Karia said the venues selected to host AFCON matches have been located in or near tourist destinations, providing visitors with easy access to various attractions.

He added that during match-free days, visitors will have an opportunity to explore different tourist attractions across the country, including Zanzibar.

Karia said the impact of these efforts in promoting Tanzania as a tourism destination is expected to become more evident after the conclusion of the AFCON tournament.
