Tanzanian youth join national service camps as training starts May 28

DODOMA: THE Tanzania National Service Unit  (JKT) has called upon youth who have completed their form six education in Tanzania Mainland to report to their training camps, whose training officially starts tomorrow, May 28, and climaxes on June 8, this year.

Acting Head of Administration in the National Service Unit, Colonel Juma Mrai, made the call earlier today, May 27, 2025, in Dodoma.

Furthermore, he named the camps as JKT Rwamkoma (Mara), JKT Msange (Tabora), JKT Ruvu and JKT Kibiti (Coast Region), JKT Mpwapwa and JKT Makutupora (Dodoma), JKT Mafinga (Iringa), JKT Mlale (Ruvuma), JKT Mgambo and JKT Maramba (Tanga)

Others are JKT Makuyuni and JKT Orjolo (Arusha), JKT Bulombora, JKT Kanembwa and JKT Mtabila (Kigoma), JKT Itaka (Songwe), JKT Luwa and JKT Milundikwa (Rukwa), and JKT Nachingweai in Lindi.

However, Colonel Mrai said graduates with visible physical disabilities are required to report to Ruvu JKT Camp located in Mlandizi, Coast Region, which is equipped with infrastructure to support people with such needs.
