DAR ES SALAAM: THE DIRECTOR of TMC, an organization focusing on ICT development in the country, Asha Abinallah, has urged media stakeholders to shift from traditional working methods and adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
While presenting the results of a study on the use of AI technology in media development, Asha pointed out that AI technology is advancing rapidly, and media stakeholders must adapt to keep up with technological changes.

“We cannot claim to embrace change without adjusting our working methods. We cannot say we will use AI and benefit from it without changing our mindset and accepting that technology is essential. To succeed, we must put it into practice for our benefit,” Asha emphasized.
Additionally, Asha encouraged stakeholders to continue collaborating with both local and international partners to deepen their understanding of AI technology and stay in sync with the country’s ongoing ICT developments.
