The association has evolved from its predecessor and founding association – the East and Southern African Association of Accountants-General (ESAAG), which was at the regional level, and has now transitioned into a Pan-African institution in July 2023.
The main vision of AAAG is to ensure there is an accountable, integrated, and prosperous Africa.
