Tanzania conducts training on Anti-Corruption Strategy and Phase Four implementation Plan

ARUSHA: THE Department  of Human Resources Administration and Management, Ministry of Finance, has conducted training for the Ministry’s Integrity Committee on the National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Implementation Plan Phase Four (2023– 2030), which will help equip participants with the understanding of managing the Ministry’s Strategy Implementation Plan.

The National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Implementation Plan Phase Four – NACSAP IV (2023– 2030) establishes a national framework guiding all implementers involved in the maintenance of integrity and anti-corruption efforts to build a society with integrity and zero tolerance for corruption.

Speaking while welcoming the participants , the Acting Commissioner, Public-Private Partnership Unit from the Ministry of Finance, who is also a member of the committee, Bashiru Taratibu, said that the aim of the training is to build capacity on issues related to the strategic implementation plan, promoting integrity, preventing and combating corruption in the implementation of the Ministry’s responsibilities.

He urged the participants to pay attention to the various topics that will be presented during the training, the results of which are expected to be useful tools in carrying out their responsibilities.

The training, which involved Ministry of Finance staff from the Department of Administration and Human Resources Management, the Public-Private Partnership Unit, the Government Communications Unit, the Internal Auditor General’s Department and the Department of Financial Management Systems and Information Services, was held in Arusha.
