Tanzania assures Africa50 delegates of enjoyable stay

DAR ES SALAAM: DAR ES SALAAM Regional Commissioner Albert Chalamila has assured all delegates attending the Africa50 Annual General Shareholders Meeting and the Africa Infrastructure Forum of enjoyable tour and quality services throughout their stay in Tanzania.
Speaking to media outlets Dar es Salaam, Chalamila said the government has put in place comprehensive preparations to ensure the meeting is conducted in a safe environment that meets international standards.
He noted that the event will further demonstrate Tanzania’s capacity to successfully host major international conferences while strengthening the country’s positive image on the global stage.
He also urged business operators to observe hospitality and good services for visiting delegates to maintain Tanzania’s reputation as an excellent host of international events.

In addition, Chalamila called on residents of Dar es Salaam to cooperate with the government by extending hospitality to visitors, maintaining environmental cleanliness, observing all laws and regulations, and supporting the relevant authorities whenever necessary. He said these efforts would help ensure the conference is held peacefully and successfully.
Chalamila noted that Tanzania has extensive experience in hosting major international conferences, emphasizing that the Africa50 meeting is not the first of its kind to be held in the country. He added that the successful organization of previous high-profile events has earned Tanzania growing international recognition and credibility as a destination capable of hosting large-scale conferences with professionalism and efficiency.
