Status of Kibiti projects thrills CCM committee

KIBITI: MEMBERS of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Central Committee in Kibiti District, Coast Region under the chairmanship of Juma Ndaruke visited and inspected various development projects on Sunday.

Although they expressed their satisfaction on the progress as per the Party’s manifesto, they called upon the District Commissioner and Kibiti District Council Director to ensure that the projects are completed on time.

The projects which the central committee visited are two primary schools of Itonga and Jaribu with nine classrooms and administration block, the projects which were allocated a total of 306m/-.

They also inspected ongoing projects at Kibiti District Hospital including a theater room (237m/-), men and women wards with each being allocated a budget of 235m/- and mortuary (93m/-).

The last project was the construction of Nyamatanga Dispensary which has been allocated a budget of 500m/- and construction of Mbwera Bridge, a project worth 999m/-.

Addressing the Kibiti’s CCM Central Committee member after visiting and inspecting the said projects, Chairman Juma Ndaruke said that they have been satisfied by the progress of the projects and commended the entire team who are working to complete the projects.

“I take this opportunity to commend our national CCM Chairman President Samia Suluhu Hassan for setting aside funds for these projects which could improve the economy of Kibiti District. On behalf of CCM in Kibiti we really thank the President, and we promise to work hard to oversee the completion of the projects,” said Ndaruke.
