He said that some of the England and Spain League football Clubs and some of the NBA teams in the United States, have shown an interest in cooperating with the government to promote tourism attractions and they have already brought their offers.

“We are looking at how to collaborate with the biggest teams in the world, yes we are now using Simba and Young Africans but we need to go more internationally, we are aiming to reach the world, any time soon you will see our collaboration with a team from these leagues, the goal is to bring more tourists to the country,” said Dr Abbas.

Explaining the success of one year since the launch of the Royal Tour film in the Art Sector Abbas said that more than 200 film artists have had the training opportunity on how to produce quality films from the Tanzanian Royal Tour film producer.

“After the President launched it in Arusha, our artists had the opportunity to have training given by the producer of this film, this helped them understand various things including writing a good script, screenplay etc” he said.

He said that other achievements include the Afrima Award that was given to President Dr Samia in recognition of her contribution to promoting arts by agreeing to cast the Tanzania Royal Tour film.
