Singida BS humble Pamba FC
MWANZA: SINGIDA Black Stars have secured three points after defeating Pamba FC with a 1-0 win at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza yesterday.
This victory meant Singida BS now have 12 points, maintaining an undefeated record so far this season and extending the lead at the top of the table.
Emmanuel Keyekeh, the forward for Singida, scored the only goal in the first minute of the match, putting his team on the lead.
Pamba FC struggled to keep up, with Singida showing great morale and dominance throughout the game.
The second half continued with intense action from both sides, as Singida pushed for a second goal, while Pamba aimed for an equaliser.
In the 52nd minute, George Mpole of Pamba FC came close to scoring, but his shot hit the post.
Despite four minutes of added time, Pamba failed to find the back of the net and the match ended with Singida securing the narrow win.

In another match, Namungo FC celebrated their first victory of the season, by defeating Coastal Union 2-0.
Ritchi Nkoli scored the opening goal in the 38th minute, with Pius Buswita adding the second in the 45th minute.
Namungo now moves up to 11th place with three points, while Coastal Union remains in 14th place with just a point.
Meanwhile, Ken Gold FC have officially parted ways with their Head Coach, Fikir Elias and assistant coach, Luhaga Makunja.
The club announced via Instagram that the coaches requested to leave, and the team is now under the interim leadership of coach Jumanne Charles.
Ken Gold, having lost their first three matches and conceded six goals while scoring only two, has become the third team to dismiss coaches this season.
Earlier in the season, Azam FC and Coastal Union parted ways with their respective head coaches, Youssouph Dabo and David Ouma respectively, citing poor performance in international matches.
The league will continue on September 19, with KMC hosting Azam FC at KMC Complex Stadium.
