SINGIDA: SINGIDA Black Star’s Head Coach Patrick Aussems has expressed satisfaction with his team’s development as they prepare for the 2024/25 Premier League season, despite a recent pre-season setback.
In a recent statement, the Belgian coach, formerly of Simba SC, praised his squad’s progress following a series of preseason matches.
“We continue to work hard and I am pleased with the team’s development. Despite a few issues, everything is going well so far,” Aussems noted.
The team encountered a challenging opponent in their latest friendly match against Dodoma Jiji, suffering a 2-1 defeat at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha.
Despite this loss, Aussems remained optimistic about the team’s readiness for the upcoming league season. “My team is performing well with noticeable improvements in both defense and attack,” he said, adding “The players are developing better connections and understanding each other more.
