SINGIDA: SINGIDA Black Stars Football Club, in partnership with key sports stakeholders, have announced the official launch of Airtel Stadium, a newly built modern football venue aimed at boosting the development of sports and entertainment in the country.
The grand opening is set to take place on March 24, 2025, in Mtipa, Singida Region and will be attended by government officials, sports leaders, top athletes and fans.
According to the club’s Chief Communication Officer, Hussein Masanza, the Airtel Stadium is part of Singida Black Stars’ broader vision to invest in sports infrastructure and create a world-class environment for players, supporters and the local community.

The stadium, constructed to meet international standards, is expected to host major domestic and international tournaments.
“This is a landmark moment for the club and the entire region. Airtel Stadium will not only serve as our home ground but also as a premier venue for top-tier football and entertainment events in Tanzania,” said Masanza.
The launch event will feature various entertainment activities, with the highlight being an exciting friendly match between Singida Black Stars and Young Africans SC.
He further added that fans and stakeholders are invited to witness the opening occasion.
