Singida Black Stars’ new coach vows to restore winning spirit

SINGIDA Black Stars Head Coach Hamdi Miloud

DAR ES SALAAM: SINGIDA Black Stars have a renewed sense of hope with Algerian-French Head Coach Hamdi Miloud at the helm.

Miloud, upon arriving in Tanzania, expressed his excitement for the role and his commitment to rekindling the team’s early-season success.

The club’s recent form has been a concern, with five wins, two draws and three losses in their last 10 matches. After an impressive start, winning seven and drawing one of their first eight games, they were dealt a setback by a 1-0 loss to Young Africans.

Since then, their performances have faltered, with three losses, two draws and three wins in the subsequent eight matches. Miloud aims to bring back the optimism and success the team enjoyed at the beginning of the season.

“We will try to do everything to continue to have very good results. I hope to give big, big pleasure to all the fans,” he said during his official unveiling on Monday.

The coach is expected to join the team soon after completing a short break.

The Singida Black Stars, currently fourth in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League standings, have accumulated 33 points from 16 matches.
