Samia’s commitment to sports hailed

DAR ES SALAAM: SPORTS stakeholders have praised Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan for creating a good sporting environment and sportsmanship during her presidency.

The stakeholders, including football practitioners said President Samia’s support has played a role in enhancing infrastructure, promoting investments, and providing support for athletes and the gaming industry. This forward-thinking approach aims to boost the country’s presence on the global sports and entertainment stages.

“Under her leadership, there has been a notable improvement in sports facilities and funding, contributing to the development of both traditional sports and the rapidly growing gaming sector in Tanzania,” stated the Public Relations Piga Bet official, Allen Mwinyi during the launch of their new campaign, “Kula Shavu,” which aims to provide job opportunities for Tanzanians through the gaming platform.

‘’The campaign focuses on empowering individuals by offering them opportunities to engage in the growing gaming and betting industry, which has seen significant growth in recent years,” he said.

Adding, he said: “ With the increasing popularity of online betting and gaming platforms, this initiative is expected to create numerous employment opportunities, particularly for young people, while also contributing to the country’s economic development.’’
