QNET puts Tanzania at centre of regional growth strategy

DAR ES SALAAM: Global lifestyle and wellness company QNET has placed Tanzania at the centre of its growth strategy in East and Southern Africa following the appointment of Jared Thwaits as its Regional General Manager for the region.
Thwaits will oversee QNET’s operations and strategic development across East and Southern Africa, including Tanzania, as the company moves to strengthen customer experience, distributor education, compliance and consumer awareness.
The company said the regional leadership structure will also prioritise technology, responsible business growth and stronger engagement with regulators, the media, consumer organisations and other stakeholders.
Thwaits will lead efforts to address misinformation and misuse of the QNET name while ensuring customers and Independent Distributors have accurate information about the company’s products and business model.
QNET described Tanzania as an important market with significant long-term potential, citing its young population, growing digital connectivity and entrepreneurial culture.
“Tanzania is an important market for QNET and one where we see significant long-term potential,” Thwaits said.

He said sustainable growth would go beyond business expansion, with consumer protection, distributor responsibility, education and transparency remaining central to the company’s operations in Tanzania.
The appointment is part of a broader global leadership transformation at QNET, which has also appointed Mattias Mildenborn as Chief Executive Officer, Elena Khoo as Chief Marketing Officer, Peter Luk as Chief Financial Officer and Ben Bredenkamp as Group Chief Information Officer.
The company said its wider strategy would focus on product innovation, improved digital services, technology, distributor training and stronger governance as it seeks to achieve long-term and responsible growth across the region.
