DAR ES SALAAM: THE Puma Energy Tanzania has stated that the favorable environment established by the government under the leadership of President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan has enabled the company to continue providing excellent services to their customers and Tanzanians.

“All achievements would not have been possible without the favorable conditions set by President Samia for businesspeople and Tanzanians to conduct business easily and happily.”

“We businesspeople have enjoyed very favorable conditions for conducting business, and we at Puma Tanzania are prepared to take advantage of this environment to continue serving Tanzanians,” Company’s Managing Director Fatma Abdallah stated.

Ms Abdallah mentioned that they have now implemented strategies for supporting President Samia’s goal of ensuring that 80 per cent of Tanzanians use clean cooking energy by 2034, and in this regard, they have begun distributing gas cylinders to citizens.

She stated this on Wednesday while serving customers by filling fuel, cleaning car windows, and checking fuel levels in various vehicles at the Sam Nujoma fuel station in Dar es Salaam.

She joined Puma officials and employees in serving customers as part of commemorating World Customer Service Week.

The Managing Director said they are using this week to also engage with customers and gather their feedback and suggestions with the aim of continuing to provide excellent services.

“As part of commemorating Customer Service Week, we at Puma Energy Tanzania this year have decided to be closer to our customers. All Puma Tanzania leaders are at various stations across the country, serving customers, engaging with them, and collecting feedback about our services and how we can improve them.

“We believe the service provided by the company should be the same as what a customer receives when they visit Puma Energy in South Africa or Zambia. We want to maintain the same international standard of excellence worldwide,” she said.

She also said that in terms of clean cooking energy, Puma is a key partner and has already launched a programme to distribute gas cylinders to street food vendors, starting in the Kigamboni District, and will continue in other districts and regions.

“The clean energy campaign is a sustainable programme aimed at supporting the efforts of President Samia to ensure we transition to clean cooking energy. The strategy is to reach 80 per cent of Tanzanians using clean cooking energy, and we at Puma Tanzania are committed to achieving this goal and will continue distributing cooking gas cylinders to households.”

She added that regarding the CNG gas, which is used in vehicles, they already have a solid plan, and their expectation is to have refuelling stations for vehicles starting early next year.
