President Samia picks two advisors 

President Samia Suluhu Hassan has named two advisors in the spheres of legal affairs as well as climate change and environment.

A press statement issued by Director of Presidential Communications Ms Zuhura Yunus on Friday April 21, 2023, states that Justice George Masaju has been picked as Advisor to the President-Legal Affairs.

It further states Dr Richard Muyungi has been appointed as the Advisor to the President-Climate Change and Environment.

Prior to his appointment, Dr Muyungi was manager for Environment at the Tanzania Electrical Supply Company (TANESCO).

Dr Muyungi and Justice Masaju’s appointments are effective from 19 April, 2023 and 20 April, 2023 respectively.
