PM off to Tanga to inspect strategic projects worth 758bn/-
TANGA: PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba is expected to begin a five-day visit to Tanga Region from February 13 to 17, 2025 to inspect projects worth 758bn/-across eight districts of the region.
Tanga Regional Commissioner, Dr Batlida Burian announced this to journalists noting that the Premier will review projects in the sectors of administration, education, health, infrastructure, and water.
Additionally, he said that he will also hold meetings with residents and government employees.

Elaborating, she stated that in Handeni District, the Prime Minister will inspect electricity cooling center projects and inaugurate a mortuary facility at Handeni Town District Hospital while in Kilindi District, he will review a water project and officially open the Kilindi District Hospital.
While in Korogwe District, he will inspect the progress of the water project serving 28 towns.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will also inspect projects implemented by local investors, including a five-star hotel and a factory producing bag packaging.
