DAR ES SALAAM: Fifteen swimmers have been selected in the 2023 Tanzania Para Swimming Provisional National Team.
They have been paraded on Tuesday in Dar es Salaam by the Tanzania Para Swimming Association (TPSA) General Secretary Ramadhan Namkoveka.
They are Salmin Mtwana (Zanzibar), Adam Suleiman (Zanzibar), Imani Abdallah (free swimmer), Gaudence Madanda (free swimmer), Happiness Magere (Stingrays Swim Club), Lusiano Masika (Stingrays Swim Club) and Amos Nderwa (Stingrays Swim Club).
Others are Gerald Sokolo (Watoto Kwanza Project), Rebecca Kalengo (Pigec Swim Club), Daniel Junior Msangi (Pigec Swim Club) and Humayl-Mohammed Gangji (Al Muntazir Islamic International School – Special Education Needs).
The list also contain Mohamed Mohamed (Al Muntazir Islamic International School – Special Education Needs), Iago Nzoshe (Al Muntazir Islamic International School – Special Education Needs), Ivan Shayo (St. Joseph’s Nursery and Primary Schools) and Luis Siangicha (Chadron’s Hope Education).
The swimmers have been selected from the 1st Tanzania Para Swimming National Identification Gala 2023 which was held at Gymkhana Club in Dar es Salaam on Saturday (October 14th).
