“The match was tough because Coastal Union has a strong team and is positioned above us in the league standings. However, we fought hard to secure the three vital points and move up the table. We are grateful for the victory,” he said.

Minziro, who has previously managed Mbao FC, Panone FC and Arusha United, also praised the club’s management for their efforts in reinforcing the squad during the mini-transfer window, which has significantly improved the team’s performance.

“We’ve worked hard to strengthen the team during the mini-transfer window and it’s paying off. Now, each position has two to three players, allowing us to make necessary rotations and maintain fresh legs,” he explained.

Additionally, Minziro commended Mwanza Regional Commissioner Said Mtanda and the people of Mwanza for their unwavering support of the team.

After their clash with Mashujaa FC, Pamba Jiji FC will face Singida Black Stars at CCM Liti Stadium in Singida, followed by a showdown against defending champions Young Africans at CCM Kirumba Stadium on February 23 and 28, respectively.

Currently, Pamba Jiji FC sit in eighth place in the Premier League standings with 21 points from 19 matches. They have won five, drawn six and lost eight matches.
