No human rights abuse in conservation efforts, Dr Ndumbalo defends Tanzania

GENEVA: The Minister of Constitution and Legal Affairs, Dr Damas Ndumbaro, has stated that Tanzania continues to prioritize the promotion and protection of human rights in the execution of government activities.
Dr Ndumbaro made these remarks while representing Tanzania at the 58th Human Rights Session held in Geneva, Switzerland.
He mentioned that through the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977, and the Constitution of Zanzibar, 1984, Tanzania has consistently upheld human dignity in accordance with the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This aligns with the strategy adopted by President Samia Suluhu Hassan, which is based on the 4Rs: Reconciliation, Stability, Reform, and Reconstruction.
