These include steps to consider when conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), the ban of plastic bags, and the process of registering projects to NEMC through Project Management System (PMS).

“Our focus is to facilitate investment and trade for a sustainable economy.

We are attending the expo to help create awareness about our mandate to the public, investors, and business owners,” he said.

Murunya urged investors and business owners to attend the expo to seize the opportunity to familiarize with the oversight agency especially in the area regarding Environmental Impact Assessments for their projects.
