“The doors are opened for all artists to showcase their talents. We intend to promote their work through exhibitions in and outside the country,” he said.

At the event, an artist, Regina Kihwele alias Gynah will be honoured to launch an album that goes by the name G3’s Extended Playlist (EP).

Besides being a musician, Gynah is a songwriter, actress, model and mental health activist.

Lugomela added Gynah has participated in various international concerts and given her multiple international opportunities that have aided in promoting her nation Tanzania.

Lugomela said Gynah has participated in modelling events and won multiple awards, like the best female actress in Africa at the Lake International Pan African Film festival held last year in Nairobi, Kenya.

He also noted Regina was nominated as one of the youngest actors by the Tanzania Film Board for her role as a supporting actor in the “Mulasi the Death film series”.

Apart from that, Lugomela said the national museum has been running this programme every Friday at the end of the month for six years now, intending to promote the talents of stage performers and handcraft artists.

On her side, the artist Regina Kihwele said she is well prepared to entertain the audience, which will appear on December 30th during the Kahawa Night.

She added the entrance to the festival is 5000/- for students, and the regular ticket is 20,000/- while the VIP is 50,000/- per person.

“We call upon the Tanzanians to come and enjoy with us next Friday. So come along, and let’s promote our culture.

The National Museum has organized Kahawa Night Festival through its museum centre and Museum Arts Explosion Program in collaboration with Tabasamy PR Consult.
