Mwinyi picks Mansura Kassim as Zanzibar CS
ZANZIBAR: ZANZIBAR President Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi has appointed senior civil servant Mansura Mossi Kassim as the new Chief Secretary (CS) in a government reshuffle that takes effect immediately.
A statement issued on Monday by Acting Chief Secretary Saleh Juma Mussa confirmed that Mansura, who previously served as Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President for Constitution, Legal Affairs, Public Service and Good Governance, will be sworn in on Wednesday this week at State House.

Mansura takes over from Zena Ahmed Said, who has been appointed Tanzania’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Zena served as CS since 2021 following President Mwinyi’s assumption of office and remained in the post until March this year when she moved to diplomatic service.
