Msigwa named new PS for Culture, Arts and Sports

DAR ES SALAAM President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Gerson Msigwa as the new Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Culture, Arts and Sports.

Prior to his new post, Msigwa was serving as former Director of Information Service.

Mr Msigwa who was also serving as the Chief Government Spokesperson replaces Said Ayubu who has been appointed as an ambassador.

A statement released on Saturday and signed by the Director of Presidential Communications Ms Zuhura Yunus says the vacant post of Director of Information Services and Chief Government Spokesperson will be filled soon.
