LONDON, UK: Sub-Saharan African infrastructure development expert and business tycoon-Dr Tinashe Manzungu says his achievement to be selected among the Leaders Without Borders (LWB) Top 100 Influential Global Voices 2024 is a prodigious opportunity which enables knowledge transfer; investment; networking and partnership among others.
Manzungu who is attending the unveiling ceremony of the LWB Top 100 Influential Global Voices, 2024 at the UK House of Lords Palace of Westminster, London said his looking forward to the event which will not be a benefit for his home country alone but a benefit to southern Africa and the rest of the continent.
“I will be meeting the top 100 influencers in the world, including world Presidents and business leaders and I am looking forward to learn valuable insights and strategies from these influential individuals with the intentions of bringing back and implement in Southern Africa,” said Manzungu.

This year’s LWB Top 100 Influential Global Voices’ unveiling ceremony will be held on the 31st of July. Among the influencers that will be sharing the stage with Manzungu are; Ruler Dubai-Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Former Nigerian President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR; USA former President of Donald Trump; President of Senegal Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye; Billionaire Jack Ma; Rwandan President Paul Kagame; Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA) Secretary General-Wamkele Mene among others.
Manzungu who wears many hats including being the CEO and co-founder of the renowned construction company-ZimBuild; Board Member of the African Business Committee, Chair of the COMESA Business Council’s Finance Risk and Audit Committee; and newly elected Zimbabwe Building Contractors Association (ZBCA) said the event is a platform for interacting and networking with high profile leaders.
He said such networking stimulate partnerships across the globe that have a meaningful social economic development.
“I am looking forward to translating the knowledge and ideas gained from the conference into actionable plans for Southern Africa, potentially benefiting the region through innovative solutions or practices.
Moreover, by scouting for investment opportunities or connecting with potential investors at the conference, I hope to attract financial support for projects in Southern Africa, fostering economic growth and development,” said Manzungu.
He said one of his key objectives on such a platform is to learn, network and implement, as well as exploring potential investment avenues that can positively impact Southern Africa.
