Minister for Works and Transport, Professor Makame Mbarawa has appointed six members of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority (LATRA) board of directors.
Statement issued by the Authorities relations and communication unit mentioned the appointed members as Neema Ringo, Nuru Ngoma and Michael Kisaka.
Others are Allen Marwa, Tumaini Silaa and Eng Lucian Kilewo.
The statement added that their appointment is effective since May 10, this year.
According to the statement, the appointment comes following President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s appointment on the 17th of January this year where she called in Prof Ahmed Mohamed Ame to chair LATRA’s Board of Directors.
Prof Ame is a lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam and took the chair from Eng John Nduguru.
