“We know you are struggling with capital and you have been borrowing money from financial institutions and finding yourself paying daily and others failing, this is why Lalji has come up with this solution,” he said.

He said he wishes to see the entrepreneurs, looking at the funds, not in size but how they will be able to bring about economic change after one year.

He added that there are people who have been taking loans intending to develop their business from financial institutions and once they fail to pay back, they go to his office asking for help. Something which is not good.

The Lalji Director, Imtiaz Lalji, said the goal support women entrepreneurs to meet their needs and develop themselves economically.

The Lalji Singh Foundation was established in honour of the world-renowned scientist and India’s Father of DNA Fingerprinting, the Late Padma Shri Dr Lalj.

On behalf of the entrepreneurs who got the capital, Rahilu Nyundo thanked the company for helping them with capital and said it will help them in the growth of their business.
