Karamagi urges youth to contest in General Election
BUKOBA: KAGERA Regional CCM Chairman, Mr Nazir Karamagi has called on youths in the region and others across the country to contest for leadership positions in the upcoming General Election scheduled for October this year.
He highlighted that young people have a great opportunity to bring positive changes in the country and that they must participate fully in the upcoming election.
“Tanzania needs young leaders with vision, competence, strength and deep patriotism. Youths with leadership aspirations should come forward to contest in the October General Election, taking into consideration that they have a critical role to play in the country’s development agenda,” Mr Karamagi hinted.
He appealed to citizens to uphold the existing peace that has enabled Tanzanians to live amicably for many decades, adding……. “As the nation prepares for the coming general election slated for October, this year citizens should uphold the existing peace that has enabled Tanzanians to live amicably for many decades,”.

Mr Karamagi urged leaders at all levels to work as a team in implementing the 2020-2025 CCM election manifesto and should continue sensitising people to work hard for their economic wellbeing.
He encouraged the leaders to promote the projects being implemented by President Samia Suluhu Hassan in various sectors including health, education, infrastructure and water.
“Significant progress has been made across various sectors, including political reforms, infrastructure development, education, health and agriculture sector investments, paving the way for a prosperous future. Such efforts should be supported,” he said.
Mr Karamagi highlighted 2025 as a crucial year for the political landscape with the presidential, parliamentary and ward councillors elections.
