Landscaping, establishing green spaces and the procurement of office furniture are also progressing. Beyond the new government buildings, efforts are being made to enhance urban development and housing in the city.
Dodoma’s strategic location at the centre of Tanzania positions it as an ideal hub for agricultural processing and industrial development.
With its status as the political and administrative capital, Dodoma is expected to experience rapid growth in the coming years, fuelling the city’s transformation.
Mr Msigwa also expressed gratitude to the government under the leadership of President Samia Suluhu Hassan for facilitating the construction, insisting that the new offices will provide a conducive and efficient working environment for public servants.
The project is expected to be completed by next month and three ministries the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, the President’s Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance and the Ministry of Water are already operating from their new offices.
