Former Kilwa South MP, Bwege, passes away

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Former Kilwa South Member of Parliament, Seleman Bungara, popularly known as Bwege, has passed away today, Monday, March 30, 2026.

According to a statement confirmed by his son, Hassan Seleman Bungara, the veteran politician died while receiving treatment at EM Hospital.

Bungara served as the Member of Parliament for Kilwa South under the Civic United Front from 2015 to 2020.
